Murder in the Mountains – Trish McCormack
Wed 5 Jul @ 7:30 pm
This would be a great place for a murder… It’s not a normal take on wilderness but Trish McCormack who grew up at Franz Josef Glacier is fascinated with murder and its motives. Wild places and the stories of (fictitious) people who live there are her inspiration. An archivist by day and a crime writer by night, she was previously a journalist in Hokitika. She has also worked in the national parks where she sets her novels featuring glacier guide and amateur sleuth Philippa Barnes.
Trish has written 3 fictional crime novels and she’ll be speaking about the adventures of her writing. Books will be available for signing and purchase.
For more information about Trish and her books, see her author profile on the NZ Society of Authors.
