Hello WTMC Members
I work for NZMS (New Zealand Medical and Scientific) primarily with Insulin Pumps and Continuous Glucose Monitoring for people with Type 1 Diabetes.
We are proud to be hosting Sebastian Sasseville on a speaking tour of Australia and New Zealand in early August. Sebastian is an endurance athlete whose accomplishments include summiting Mount Everest, completing the mythical Sahara race, and running across Canada. These are made all the more impressive by the fact that he lives with Type 1 Diabetes and has had to manage this in these extreme environments.
We are running the evening in partnership with Diabetes Youth Wellington who will be selling supper and running several raffles as part of the evening. All proceeds will go towards Wellington Diabetes Youth Children’s Camp for 2018. Sebastian will be speaking from 7-8ish.
