We have a lovely variety of speakers coming up over the next wee while. These are:
- 4 June – Some committee members will spin a yarn or two although who’s story are they telling? You’ll have to come along to work that out yourself;
- 11 June – Chief Guide Mike Phethean will be talking to us about Christmas trip options and seeking your feedback on the these. If you want to head away over the Christmas period, this will be a must attend session;
- 18 June – Sharon Brandford will take us through 7 days in the Kaweka’s; and
- 25 June – Beccy Day will tell us about the adventures of the medium trip to the West Coast over Christmas.
I’m heading away for six weeks in late July and August. A volunteer has kindly offered to cover for me – thank you Pete! I know it’s still a couple of months away however there are a few gaps so I would truly appreciate volunteers to fill those slots. Dob in a mate, or dob in a punter! Or, you could dob in yourself!
