SUMMARY:WTMC Talks: A nearly solo weekend SK Tararua traverse
DESCRIPTION:WTMC member Megan Sety will talk about her successful (nearly) solo traverse North to South of the Tararua mountain range known as a SK (Schormann – Kaitoke) traverse via the main range. The traverse gains some 6800 metre of elevation over roughly 80 km. \n*WTMC social nights are open to WTMC Club members and the general public. You don’t need to book or RSVP\, just turn up! It’s also a great time to come along and ask questions about getting involved with the club. \nDoors open at 7pm. From 7 – 7:30pm you can pickup and return gear for club trips and grab a cup of tea and a biscuit. From 7:30 there are always a few announcements and then we get to the main presenter of the night.
