DESCRIPTION:Come along to catch up with other club members about recent trips\, start thinking about some new ones\, and hear from guest speaker Hilary Fowler\, from Orienteering Hutt Valley\, about the Wellington rogaining scene ahead of this season’s start in April.\n\nThe talk at tonight’s social will cover:\n– What is rogaining and why is it so much fun?\n– What relevance does rogaining have to tramping?\n– Where and when are Wellington rogaines held?\n– How do I get involved?\nWe’ll also hear from Hilary about what goes into planning and mapping a rogaine.\n\n7:00pm: doors\, gear pickup/return and tea and biscuits – say hi to a member if you’re new!\n7:30: club announcements\n7:35pm: Rogaining 101\nAfterwards: pub\n\nWTMC social nights are open to WTMC Club members and the general public. You don’t need to book or RSVP\, just turn up! It’s also a great time to come along and ask questions about getting involved with the club.\n\n[This replaces the previously planned talk for tonight’s social about Kiwi Spotting on Rakiura\, which will now happen on 8 May]
