SUMMARY:WTMC Talks: Through Hiking The Pacific Northwest Trail
DESCRIPTION:Ever daydreamed about tramping for months on a long trail like the Te Araroa? WTMC member Kate will talk about her experience completing the Pacific Northwest Trail in the US\, a 2000km journey over 2.5 months. Come along for inspiration for your 2023 adventures\, tips for planning your own long hike\, insight into TA hikers you encounter\, or a maybe renewed appreciation for weekend tramps. \n*WTMC social nights are open to WTMC Club members and the general public. You don’t need to book or RSVP\, just turn up! It’s also a great time to come along and ask questions about getting involved with the club. \nDoors open at 7pm. From 7 – 7:30pm you can pickup and return gear for club trips and grab a cup of tea and a biscuit. From 7:30 there are always a few announcements and then we get to the main presenter of the night.
