SUMMARY:Explore! Aotearoa - Children's book exploring the journey of 5 of Aotearoa’s greatest adventures - Bronwen Wall
DESCRIPTION:What do you do when you’ve just had the best experience in the hill s and you want to share it with … everyone? If you’re in the publishing business\, you might just write a book about some of our most amazing adventurers. For Bronnie Wall and Jonathan Kennett\, Explore! Aotearoa started as a call to young New Zealanders to be proud of our amazing outdoors heritage and to get out there and give it a go! But it soon became clear that the book would appeal to people of all ages interested in our outdoors. Over two years of research has resulted in a non-fiction chronicle of the incredible explorers of our past: from Kupe’s migration to Aotearoa to the tramping exploits of Thomas Brunner in the 1840s to the great mountaineering brothers Peter and Alex Graham of the 1900s\, cavers such as Kieran Mckay and Neil Silverwood and divers Kelly Tarlton and Wade Doak. \nCome along on 16 May to learn more about the fascinating process that led to Explore! Aotearoa. \nBooks will be available for purchase on the night.
