DESCRIPTION:Club members Monique Bon and Mathew Denys will talk about their respective FMC Simon Bell Memorial Scholarship funded trips.\n.\nMonique led an Easter tenting expedition to the Humbolt Mountains which included evocatively named locations like Valley of the Trolls\, Sugarloaf Pass\, and the renowned Lakes Harris and Wilson.\n.\nMathew headed into the Darran Mountains with the intention of reaching spot point 2024 near Lake Turner\, where they experienced exposed terrain\, impressive waterfalls\, and precarious campsites.\n.\nThey will provide trip reports\, plenty of photos\, some take aways\, and *information regarding the FMC scholarships* which are open for all TTC members to apply for.\n.\n7:00pm: doors\, gear pickup/return and tea and biscuits – say hi to a member if you’re new!7:30: club announcements7:35pm: Monique & Mat’s talk on their FMC Simon Bell Memorial Scholarship funded trips to the Darrans and Humboldt mountains\n.\nWTMC social nights are open to WTMC Club members and the general public.
