Consultation is now open on the Draft Toitū Te Whenua Parks Network Plan 2020-30, the management plan for eight parks and forests managed by Greater Wellington. Consultation closes on 23 October 2020. Some super areas are covered in the plan that are great for local trips, so if you use these parks be sure to take a look. You can view and download the draft Plan here: haveyoursay.gw.govt.nz/parksplan
It’s a big document so is also provided in sections. There is a summary flyer and three fact sheets too.
