Does anyone know of any campsites on either the Fyffe River route or Sunrise Peak route around Mt Owen? I’m not familiar with the area and wouldn’t want to settle when there is a cracker around the next bend! Thanks 🙂

Plenty of campsites but no water. But anyway you would be bored with the Sunrise track – it’s too easy for you. A much more funner way to Mt Owen is via Bulmer Creek and Bulmer Lake (same road end as Sunrise). Take a look at https://wtmc.org.nz/bulmer-lake-by-photos/
