Important Notice to Visitors

Otaki River Swingbridge Closed for Repairs.

The Otaki River swingbridge (Grid ref. S26 988344) will be closed from 8 – 12 September 2003 to allow for maintenance work. If work progress is delayed due to bad weather the bridge will also be closed from 15 ? 19 September 2003.

The swingbridge is at the start of the Waitewaewae Hut track at Otaki Forks on the western side of the Tararua Forest Park.
