Over the last month we’ve had wonderful presentations that have taken us around the globe. Thank you to the folk who have taken the time to put these together and come and talk to us. We also had a very successful New Members Night on the 19th February and it was marvellous to see lots of interest in our club. For all that I’m rather biased about us, it was great to see the turnout and folk coming back this week. Some of what will keep them coming along are also the presentations – hint hint!
Over the next few weeks our line-up is:
- 5 March – Illona Keenan will take us on Christmas Trip No. 1 through Arthur’s Pass
- 12 March – I’ll be taking you through my travels around Iceland
- 19 March – Katy Glenie takes us on Christmas Trip No. 2 to the West Coast
- 26 March – Ray Walker takes us on his journeys through the Kahurangi’s and Nelson Lakes
- 2 April – it’s our annual photo competition. Details are in this newsletter so make sure you submit a photo or two, and come along for a magical evening of splendid photos. There might even be a special supper that night.
