Just to let you know, we are planning to hold the AGM on Weds 18th April (this is a change from the previously advertised date).

One of the main roles of the AGM is to elect a new committee for the coming year. Are you a member and are keen on being on the club committee, if so and you have any questions, please let me know. We have a number of committee members not seeking re-election this year, so we are keen to see some new faces on committee. All positions are up for grabs – if you want to know more about what each position is about, please let me know.

Also, over the coming month or two we will be considering who would make suitable candiates for training as a bus driver – to drive our club bus. As driving the bus is an area where 25 lives are entrusted in the driver and there are significant costs in terms of training time and licensing costs, we have to be extremely careful in who we select for training. We therefore invite expressions of interest from any club members who may be interested in learning to drive. Please let me know if you are interested in finding out more about becoming a bus driver for the club.
