A few of us are going to Mountain House this Sunday to see what work is required to (a) make it safe, (b) bring it up to a semi-respectable standard, and (c) bring it up to a really good standard.

We will also look at the practical considerations for other options, eg a shelter, if DoC and the Tararua Huts Committee decide that this hut should be removed.
