IMPORTANT NOTICE TO VISITORS

Waiohine Gorge Road Closure

?The access road to the Waiohine Gorge Roadend, eastern Tararua Ranges, will be closed due to logging for approx. one week.
?Week days only from 7am to 4 pm starting Thursday 9th June.
?The road is open as far as the Shelter only.

Trampers please note:
?When walking between the roadend to the shelter you must raise the attention of the Logging Contractors to allow you safely through this area.

For your safety, every effort has been made to ensure this information is correct. However, you should always seek more information before you begin your trip and be prepared to change your trip according to conditions.
