Is there any interest in running the ski touring course again this year? If there is anyone interested get in touch with me on and if we can get about four people that is enough to run it.
The course covers basic avalanche safety and use of gear, skinning and uphill travel and off piste skiing skills.
The cost would be about $400 plus any gear hire.
Vince, the ski guide who has run the course is in town this weekend if anyone is keen to have a chat about what’s involved.
