I am now back and looking for speakers to fill the calendar through to the end of the year. I know you are a shy bunch, but I would love to hear from you if you have a story to tell. And if you need a bit of bribing I’ll get your favourite biscuits too!
Our social calendar for October is:
1 October, Harry Smith is taking us on a mountain biking journey over the Victorian Alps – this is a not to be missed presentation as Harry’s talks are always entertaining;
8 October sees Emily Shrosbree talking about a snow-laden alpine trip to Angelus;
15 October Megan Sety takes us off track in our own backyard in the Orongorongos;
22 October Another film night is scheduled for with popcorn and jaffas so come along and relax with us over a DVD (outdoor orientated too and possibly to do with the Antarctic).
29 October We have our big night for New Trampers and folks interested in learning more about the club, so it will be all hands to the deck to provide a warm welcome to these folk.
5 November needs a presenter – this might be you!
12 November Amelia White and Mike Gilbert are talking about the lodge over summer, and finally
