The club’s regular social schedule consists of a fortnightly rotation between:
- Club nights: Held at the TTC Hall, 4 Moncrieff Street, Mt Victoria on a Wednesday. Doors open 6:30pm for a 7pm start. Starts with an opportunity to talk to other members and collect gear before we kick into updates from recent club trips and happenings and a talk or event. Talks in the past have covered topics such as skills (e.g. what to do when someone gets hypothermia), presentations on trips (new and old) and visits from experts/authors. Events include an annual gear swap, quiz nights and the club photo competition.
- Pub nights: Held at the Fork and Brewer, 20A Bond Street in the CBD on a Tuesday. Runs from 6pm to 7pm. An informal chance to catch up with friends, make some new ones and talk about upcoming adventures.
