The 2024 WTMC photo competition is live! It’s time to dig out your tramping snaps – or even better, take a camera (or even your phone) on your next club trip.
This year, the categories are as follows:
• Above the Bushline (with no Human Element) [ABN]
• Above the Bushline (with a Human Element) [ABW]
• Below the Bushline (with no Human Element) [BBN]
• Below the Bushline (with a Human Element) [BBW]
• Native Flora & Fauna [NFF]
• Long Exposure [LE]
• Historic [HIS]
Rules:
* Each club member may enter up to two photos in each category.
* NAME each photo with the category abbreviation, photographer name, and photo title (e.g. ABN_John_Doe_Aoraki.jpg).
* Email your submissions to .
* In your email, indicate if any photos were taken on WTMC club trips.

Entries close: 5pm Sunday 18 August.
Winners will be announced at the club night on Wednesday 28 August.
As WTMC is affiliated to the Federated Mountain Clubs of New Zealand (FMC), the top two photos in each category will be put forward by the club to compete in the nationwide FMC competition.

WTMC social nights are open to WTMC Club members and the general public. You don’t need to book or RSVP, just turn up! It’s also a great time to come along and ask questions about getting involved with the club.
