WTMC Talks: Christmas wanderings in the Canterbury High Country

The Canterbury High Country is a spectacular and little known region of rolling tussock ranges, rugged mountains, steep scree slopes, huge braided river valleys, towering snowy peaks, hidden lakes, and historic old musterers’ huts. Most of this area was formerly made up of high country sheep stations, but much of it now forms part of the new Te Kahui Kaupeka and Hakatere Conservation Parks. Richard (and possibly Harry) will talk about their Christmas trip in this region with Kevin Cole, Matthew Conway, and Tony Stephens.
