WTMC Talks: Hypothermia – know your facts

Dr. Jenny Visser, a lecturer in wilderness and expedition medicine as well as travel medicine at the University of Otago, will talk about hypothermia, specific to tramping and mountaineering including signs, symptoms and what to do.
*WTMC social nights are open to WTMC Club members and the general public. You don’t need to book or RSVP, just turn up! It’s also a great time to come along and ask questions about getting involved with the club.
Doors open at 7pm. From 7 – 7:30pm you can pickup and return gear from club trips and grab a cup of tea and a biscuit.
From 7:30 there are always a few announcements and then we get to the main presenter of the night.
