WTMC Talks: Learn about the Rescue Coordination Centre New Zealand

The Rescue Coordination Centre New Zealand (RCCNZ) is responsible for coordinating land-based missions arising from someone activating a distress beacon (as well as all major maritime and aviation search and rescue missions within New Zealand’s search and rescue region). Staff from RCCNZ will be coming along to talk about how and what the RCCNZ does.

*WTMC social nights are open to WTMC Club members and the general public. You don’t need to book or RSVP, just turn up! It’s also a great time to come along and ask questions about getting involved with the club.

Doors open at 7pm. From 7 – 7:30pm you can pickup and return gear for club trips and grab a cup of tea and a biscuit. From 7:30 there are always a few announcements and then we get to the main presenter of the night.
