The work parties for the construction of the new shelter are getting underway. Stuart, Gerard, Glynne, and John Rhodes did some site preparation this week. For an outline of the workparties – see the Mtn House webpages (there is a link on the What’s New webpage).

If you are keen to go on one of these workparties – either contract the leader for the various stages of construction – or sign up at club (i will have a ‘trip/workparty’ list at club this week). Its a great opportunity to contribute to the hut network in the Tararuas.
