After three years of holding the reins of the Weekend Emergency Contact (WEC) Co-ordinator role, I am passing responsibility to Sarah Fisher in time for the new summer schedule in a couple of weeks. All club trips need the support of someone who will collate trip leader’s intention sheets at the start of the weekend and provide phone assistance in the event things unfold. Mostly there is nothing to do, except ensure all trips are counted back in at the end of a weekend.
I’m in the process of reviving the Emergency Contacts roster spreadsheet. To help me populate this, I’m looking for volunteers who are happy to help out by providing this phone cover. If you are interested in helping can you please email
