It is not just the discount of 10-50% for public servants on e-bikes but also that promoting uptake will improve short-journey transport options for everyone who isn’t a lone driver in a car. I am lucky as I can walk to work, but I can now look forward to less cars passing through the Wellington CBD. As more people move about in these ways the cars will be nudged out. The move to the marriage of mass and micro transport options for urban areas is well underway!
