Hi All,

I am leading an easy overnight trip to do a couple of daywalks from Kawhatau base in Ruahine Forest Park during the weekend of August 19 to 21.

This trip will be relatively easy and a good choice if you are starting or getting back into tramping. Also you will not need to walk with a full tramping pack. A couple of daywalk options are to Colenso trig, Purity hut or Kelly Knight Hut.

The trip fare is $62.00 for members and $72.00 for non members which will include staying 2 nights at DOC’s Kawhatau base.
