Hi all
Im running a club kayaking trip on Wn harbour tomorrow – all welcome.
Meet at Fergs Kayaks on Queens Warf at 9am

(but call between 7 and 8 as i will need some time to get my own kayaks sorted out)For your info the weather forecast is good for tomorrow – southerlies dying out and fine – anyway here is the Met service forecast for Wn (the thing to note is the outlook for tomorrow – not the gale warning for tomorrow)

Situation: A front over the lower South Island is moving northeast and is expected to cross Cook Strait late afternoon.
Forecast issued at 1103hrs 14-Feb-2003 valid until 1159hr Saturday:
Wellington Harbour and the south coast from Sinclair Head to Baring Head.
Northerly 25 knots gusting 35 knots. A change to southerly 25 knots gusting 35 knots late afternoon. Sea rough. Cloudy periods, with fair visibility in late afternoon rain and overnight showers.Outlook until midnight Saturday: Southerly dying out. Fine.
Swell forecast to midday Saturday: For the Wellington South Coast and Palliser Bay: Southerly swell 1 metre. For Castlepoint: Easterly swell easing to 2 metres. Southerly swell 1 metre.
