Great to see so many people summitting Mt Taranaki at the weekend. Normally the domain of only the fitter brigade, I understand 21 people made it to the top including all 17 from the easy/medium trip.

Well done, hope you enjoyed the views (especially on the descent when the skies were clear), though I understand the late addition of Harry “Rain God” Smith (“retired” tramper) to a trip in the park ensured it wasn’t all sun and blue skies amongst the “continent” sized high pressure weather system parked over the country.
