  the next Mountain Safety Council Outdoor First Aid Course is scheduled for 28-30 July. Cost $120. To register see their website http//www.mountainsafety.org.nz or contact Cindy Darroch on wellington@mountainsafety.org.nz
  The course teaches the basics of first aid in an outdoor environment. It is lots of fun and you come away with useful skills.
  
  For those of you with a current certificate there is a one day revalidation course on 17 June, cost $50.
