The GWRC is looking for keen and competent volunteers who are interested in helping with rodent and mustelid monitoring lines in the Wainuiomata Water Catchment Area and East Harbour Regional Park. It is work that is done four times a year over 2 or 3 days, depending on which species are being monitored. Unfortunately it is work days and not weekends but you can do as many or few days that suit. It’s a great opportunity to see an area that is not accessible to the public (Wainui) and also contribute to improving the health of our forests. 🙂
