Hello all!

A lengthy journey to some frozen parts of the North is coming to an end, necessitating a confrontation with some harsh realities… nowhere to live in NZ between mid-October and Christmas (approx.).

Deborah and I are looking for a house somewhere in the greater Wellington area to housesit during this time. Does anyone know of something available?

This doesn’t quite meet your requirements, but Harriette Carr suggested I contact you. I live at 159 Owen Street (zoo end), Newtown, and am currently looking for flatmate/s. There is a double room is available to rent, furnished, at $130.00 / week, plus shared expenses (with me). It’s a lovely sunny house, and handy to buses. It’s available now, and would be yours for as long as suits us all.
