Hello trampers,

Wellington Anniversary weekend comes soon after Christmas – if you keen to go on one of the wide variety of trips on offer, make sure your name is down before Christmas. We will need to pay for ferries before Christmas and subsequently will need to collect fares at this stage.

The trips on offer are:

Tramping – Victoria Forest Park (near Reefton) – easy, medium and fit trips
Cycle Touring – Marlborough Sounds
Sea Kayaking – Cable Bay (between Nelson & Marlborough Sounds)
Tubing – Pelorous River (Marlborough)

Costs for the South Island trips will probably be in the range of $80 – $120 (plus kayak hire for the sea kayak trip)

The scheduled medium tramp for Kahurangi or Nelson Lakes has been moved to Victoria FP.

There is also a tramp in the Tararuas, though the close off for this trip will be after Christmas.
