Life Membership is the Club’s highest honour, to acknowledge people who have made an outstanding contribution to the Club over many years. Only 18 Members have been elected to Life Membership over the Club’s 78-year history, and you can read more about them here.
The Committee invites Club Members to nominate peers who you view as worthy of Life Membership. The Committee will consider nominations and put agreed candidates to the Membership at the AGM in April 2026, for election to Life Membership.
To nominate someone, please email your responses to the questions below to president@wtmc.org.nz by 5pm Sunday 8 February 2026. If you have any questions, please contact president@wtmc.org.nz.
You may make a joint nomination with other Club Members. Once you have made a nomination, the Committee may be in contact with you to seek further information, or contact other Members who support the nomination to seek additional information from them.
