As you know it’s compulsory to take a club first aid kit on club trips. The contents of these kits have been specially put together to cater for group tramping trips by keeping weight down while still having important supplies for more serious incidents. Remember you should also carry your own personal first aid kit for minor incidents like cuts and blisters.

We do our best to keep the club kits in good condition, but we need your help with this.

      Please remember to:

      1. Check the plastic seal on the kit when you collect it from the gear room. If the seal is broken, alert the Gear Custodian, check the contents and if necessary ask for an alternative kit. It’s too late to do anything about it once you are in the hills!

      2. When you return the kit then let the Gear Custodian know if it has been used (ideally what was used) so the items can be replaced before the kit goes on its next trip.

This Wednesday 14th February you can show your love for WTMC between 7 and 7:30pm by helping out with re-stocking the kits and replacing out-of-date items. Look out for Illona with the pile of supplies in the corner of the Clubrooms and join in the production line.
