As the title says, lighting has been installed at Te Puia Lodge.
(My apologies if this has already been posted.) They are on a timer and switch off at 3 mins to 10pm. (Not 10 pm, surprisingly…)

Also of note, there are two huge mattresses (one for top bunk, one for the bottom bunk, repeated at the other end of the hut) rather than the eight or so smaller individual mattresses that people could maneouvre around.

There is also a small solar light installed above the hotpools, and it means a huge difference in the (reduction of) mosquito bites.
