Happy New Year all,
The trips over Waitangi weekend are 4 days (except for the 2 day trip to Tutuwai Hut in the Tarararuas) as you are probably aware – this means taking the Monday off work. There is plenty of variety planned including a rare chance to visit the Paparoa National Park (between Greymouth and Westport on the northern west coast) with the club. There are 4 tramps, 1 climbing/caving trip and 1 kayak trip in the south island.
The south island trips will require payment by Wednesday 24 Jan (this is a week later than anticipated, due to Peter negotiating an extension for payment of ferry tickets). So please drop a cheque to your respective trip leader on Wednesday 17 or Wednesday 24 January.
