The days are getting shorter, the nights colder, and Lodge weekends are becoming front of mind.
Ski weekends – now with transport included
Bookings are now open to members and non-members alike, and are coming thick and fast. But at this stage all weekends have at least a few spaces for members or non-members to book.
We will also be running WTMC vans to and from the lodge on several weekends this ski season, to save you the drive. The all-inclusive cost for transport, accommodation AND food for the weekend is $192 for non-members and $136 for members (and cheaper for kids).
The first weekend the WTMC van is going to the lodge will be 19/20 July, so grab your seat before it fills up! To book your place or to find out more, see full details at http://www.meetup.com/
Club Ski Weeks
The lodge is popular on weekdays this year! The July school holidays have seen heavy bookings and the second week is now fully booked. Still room on the first week (7-11 July) if you get in quick. There is also plenty of room in the October holidays (28 September-9 October) – for now.
The week from Sunday 10 August to Friday 15 August has been designated a club ski week and Jan and Brian Goodwin will be on that week. Members are welcome to join us as that week has been put aside as a club ski week. At the moment there is also a vacant week from Sunday 21 September to Friday 26 September – if enough people are interested then that week can be designated a club ski week as well. Hopefully we will see a few of you in August even if it is only a couple of days. And of course you can bring your non-member friends as well! We would like an idea on numbers but feel free to decide nearer the time.
We’ve also had huge interest this year from groups who want to come up and use our lodge for ski weeks – they’ve booked up all five weeks from 17 August to 19 September. This is good to see as it introduces new people to our lodge and it doesn’t do the finances any harm to get good weekday use out of the lodge.

Booking/paying weeks and weekends
The simplest way to book is by using our online booking system at https://wtmc.org.nz/lodgebookings. You can pay by credit or debit card and receive an immediate confirmation of your booking. The other options for payment are 1) emailing Eric Evans at to request payment by internet banking or 2) by cheque.
