Now that Autumn is on our doorstep, it’s a perfect time for you to be thinking about the amazing adventures you’ve had over Summer and the presentation that you can put together to make my day! It’s easy, a minimum of 10 minutes up to around 40/45 minutes, and if you can twist someone else’s arm to present for you…or you could dob someone in – this worked well last time!
In the meantime, you can gather further inspiration from:
- Katja Riedel, on May 7th will talk to us about Lolling Around in the Arctic. This is going to be a very entertaining presentation with fantastic photos so don’t miss it;
- We head back to NZ on May 14th with Tony Gazley talking about the Taranaki Sherpa Assisted Summit;
- May 28th is the 2014 Tongue and Meat (aka – WTMC) Quiz Night. Sharpen your minds, take note of the date and come along for some power thinking;
- 4 June is looking a tad strange as there is no presentation booked at the moment. Don’t let the long weekend put you off – we are scheduled for a normal Wednesday club night. This could be you talking!
- On 11 June put your thinking and adventure-seeking caps on as Mike Phethean, Chief Guide, talks to us about Christmas trip possibilities.
- Sharon Branford will take us over/through/around a week-long trip in the Kawekas on 18 June so you can sit back, relax and enjoy another great presentation.
See you down at the Club rooms!
