The best of the New Zealand Mountain Film Festival National Tour is once again coming back to Wellington with a double feature! We’ll be screening the best of the festival for both NZ made and international films.
The festival started in 2002 and is internationally recognised as one of the world’s premier mountain film festival events. It’s NZ’s original mountain film festival with an international adventure film maker’s competition, as well as a highly regarded NZ made a division. Wellington will be screening both the best of the festival and award-winning NZ made films.
Wellington Tramping and Mountaineering Club and the Victoria University of Wellington Tramping Club have teamed up to bring the festival tour to Wellington.
The films will be screened at the Victoria University Memorial Theatre. The theatre seats just over 300 and our goal is a sell-out. All profits will be donated back to the clubs. Tickets are $20 general admission, $15 WTMC and VUWTC club members and $10 student with ID.
Watch the film trailer or get your Tickets and see the full list of films on the VUWTC website.
