With the change of committee we waved goodbye to Tony as newsletter editor. Tony’s done a great job over the past year, particularly in gracing the newsletter site with some of his beautiful photos. This month is my first month editing the newsletter. I’m not a photographer like Tony, so I know I can’t live up to his artistic standards, but I do like writing, so hopefully I’ll be able to facilitate some good newsletter content.
Watch out for me over the next year… I’ll be chasing you up for those trip reports.
I’m open minded in terms of content so if you have read a good book on an outdoors/tramping/exploration theme, and you feel inclined to do a book review, then please go ahead. Likewise I’m happy to consider gear reviews (as long as there is no commercial interest).
Many thanks to the team who transferred the newsletter to electronic format a couple of years ago. This really does make the newsletter editor role so much easier.
