We turned back here. One of the many caves – but none the one we were looking for. Next day was fine of course. Heading home via Sunrise Peak If you can’t go over… Graeme heads underground. Jade makes it through to the other side Easy grass ledges – when you can find them One of the many overhangs Easy travel over the once glaciated limestone On Sunrise Peak Along the ridge from Sunrise Peak Lunch stop by the Owen River. Just an hour more along the track to the end of a nice weekend – but we now have to go back again to find the cave we know is there somewhere.
