Website Updates

The Club website currently runs on three applications, the main wtmc.org.nz site (Drupal), the newsletter site (WordPress) and the forum (Phorum). Three different applications multiply the volunteer learning time to use and maintain. With many people now using mobile devices to view our most popular pages (trip list and social night programme) the sites are in need of updating to make it easier to see on devices smaller than a desktop screen.
So the plan is to update the newsletter site with a new theme with extra functionality such as event calendars and slowly move pages over from the main site. Changes will be incremental and you should still be able to find things on existing links until the whole process is complete. Changes are relatively easy to make in the new themes, so if you have any suggested improvements or have some skills and time to contribute, please contact me (Richard H) at .
