Bad – it clashes with club night. Good – it is local in Brooklyn. It is not all mad lycra covered freaks with a odd thing for pain. Some people go for fun alone and do actually find it even if they don’t find all of the controls. I only found one control last time but still had lots of laughs. Details form the organisers:
The start will be at the Aro Valley Community centre 48 Aro St. The centre can also be accessed from the top of Palmer St. There is limited parking in the grounds, but we have the use of the hall (and toilets) so people can park further away if needed. There is additional st parking in Palmer St and the top of Abel Smith St.
Most of the course is set in the bush. The 1:5000 scale and 20m contour interval hides some remarkably steep terrain. We hope competitors have as much fun on the course as we did setting it.

Enter on the night – entry $10 – you might not get a map, though….
