“Join us for our first planting day for the year. We will be putting ngaio along the river banks.

That will require us to cut the gorse and stack it around the plants (to keep the sheep from damaging them), mulching the plants with water weed, and we will also search for any wandering willy that has been brought down in the floods and remove it before it becomes established.

Bring along your gloves and spades and help restore our regional park
