If you want to learn about, or refresh what you already know about tramping in NZ and/or
meet other trampers, this is the perfect course for you.

Stuff covered will include how to pitch a fly, use a cooker, find your way using a map and compass and observation, suss out what the weather is doing, what to eat and drink to stay energised, how to pack including what to take and what to leave at home, how to work effectively as part of a team and cope with outdoor hazards like rivers, rocks and manic trip leaders.
