For the ones that don’t go skiing and are looking for the odd challenge:

The Butterfly Creek Nighttime Madness is on Saturday 13 August 2011.
It’s a fun race for all fitness levels and all ages [7 years to 95+ years].There are 3 race lengths: 7.75km Walk, 9.75km Classic run and 15.4km Extreme run.
All races take place in some of the wonderful tracks in the Eastbourne area at NIGHT!

What is so special about this event?
You need to race in pairs; there are categories for youth, adults and parents and children to race together; and you are competing at night!
There are walking or running categories and the course is designed for experienced and newcomers alike. You don’t need to be a top athlete to compete; this is something different for a great night out!
