Interesting article, Sharron. Coming from another country with an undeserved green image (the only green bits are what hasn’t already been covered in concrete), you’ve got to fight for it. Good to see everyone there has the stomach for it. Fortunately we don’t have anything worth mining in Ireland! Sure if all else fails bring Scargill over and he can organise another miner’s strike and kill off the industry before it even starts!
