Hi Everyone,

The Christmas and New Year’s holiday break is fast approaching and there may be people who have exciting ideas for longer trips over the break. If you’re a club member, have a cool plan for a trip, and want to use club gear on the trip, send your trip proposal to . You need to have your trip recognised as an official club trip in order to use club gear. We’ll discuss your idea at our next committe meeting in early December and decide if we can recognise it. If you have any questions, just let the Chief Guide or Assistant Chief Guide know.

HI Clinton. Do you know if any trips are running Chrismas and New Year. I would probably be interested in doing a trip around that time.

I would be interested in trips going away during these times as well.
I was thinking about doing some hiking in the area of Nationalpark or maybe “climb” Mt Taranaki or doing some paddeling somewhere.
I’m open to other suggestions as well.
