Hi all,

Just back from Arthurs Pass National Park. South Island alpine trips should note that there appears to be more snow than normal and some recent heavy dumps at higher levels. Expect to find snow on some routes that would otherwise be snow free. Likely to be a higher than normal risk of wet snow slides as well as some slab risk from recently deposited snow.
