Flatmate wanted to share with me and one other
The room is a double room with built-in wardrobe (weekly rent of $140)
And the house is an open plan villa with sheltered courtyard.
There’s storage space under the houseWe’re in Vogeltown (between Brooklyn and Newtown) on the 21 bus route (weekdays 7 am – 7 pm) and otherwise there are buses up the hill on Washington Ave/Mills Rd (route 7) or down the hill on Wallace St (routes 10/11, 18). It takes me 25 mins to walk from my house to Courtney Place, and 45 mins to walk to work on Terrace. Plus – the Penthouse cinema is just round the corner.
I guess we’re looking for someone similar to ourselves – ie 30+ and independently minded
It’s not suitable for couples as we share one bathroom
No smokers and no petsAnd the final plug – we’ve got a lovely new heat pump which means the recent cold nights are no longer an issue for us and there’s a woodburner for that real fire atmosphere on the nights we are in (which happens occasionally)
